Lessons learned
Let your mind ponder what you get out
of crafy activities, and there will probably
be as many answers as there are people
in the room.
Here are some of the lessons knitting
has taught me:
-To re-use, reclaim, recycle mistakes.
-To appreciate imperfection.
-To enjoy the journey, and not hurry to
the destination .
-To see the nuance of color and texture.
-To seek and appreciate community,
especially the knitting community.
-To create something from nothing
(well except a dream and a prayer).
-That having vision and hope is an essential
part of achieving success.
